“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.” – Brene Brown
Welcome and thank you for visiting my website! You may be thinking about therapy because some life events have caused you some stress and you just need someone to about what is going on. Or, maybe it’s more than that. Whatever brings you to therapy is just fine. My job is to serve you and to help you to move through your challenges.
I work with children, teens and adults on issues related to anxiety, adjustment related struggles, ADHD/ADD, and I love working with parents who are struggling to connect with their children (young and not so young). I practice mindfulness, acceptance, awareness and self care. Being a mom and a wife in addition to being a therapist has shaped who I am and how I practice.
I began my career working in local school districts as a Drug and Alcohol Liaison and Prevention Specialist working with children preschool to high school age. Then I pursued a position as a Mobile Therapist and Behavior Specialist Consultant doing therapy and consultation in my clients’ homes and communities. I then began my journey as an Outpatient Therapist in a community health setting while also working for someone else’s private practice. I am grateful for the mentors and colleagues that I have work with over the years. I have learned so much and it has prepared me for this adventure of having my own private practice.
